portfolio site.

This website is the personal, non-commercial portfolio of Daniel Hopp, Software Engineer, Munich metropolitan area, Germany. Contact: daniel@hoppworks.de. A postal address is available on request. The site sells nothing and processes no payments.

What this site stores about you: nothing that identifies you. There are no cookies, no analytics, no advertising or tracking scripts, and no embedded third-party fonts or media. Fonts are served from this domain. Your theme choice (light or dark) is kept in your browser's local storage only and is never sent anywhere.

Hosting. The site is served by Cloudflare Pages (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St, San Francisco, CA 94107, USA; EU data protection through its standard contractual clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework). To deliver pages, Cloudflare technically processes your IP address, request headers and time of access in server logs and may send network error reports to Cloudflare. The legal basis is Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR, the legitimate interest in operating a secure, reliably available website. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Email. If you write to me, I process the data you send only to answer you (Art. 6(1)(b) and (f) GDPR) and delete it once the conversation has ended, unless an application process requires me to keep it longer.

Your rights. You can request access to, rectification or erasure of your personal data, restriction of processing, data portability, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You may lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority, for example the Bavarian State Office for Data Protection Supervision (BayLDA).
